Basketball Tribute to a Legend – Croatia vs. Europe

This memorial game is not just a sporting event, but a reminder of the legacy of one of the greatest players of all time.

Nearly 60 years ago, Dražen Petrović, one of the most famous basketball virtuosos in the world, was born in Šibenik. Today, generations of sports fans continue to live Dražen's spirit and pay tribute to a sporting giant, but above all, to a great man who embodied the true spirit of sports. In honor of Dražen's birthday, his family, the Croatian Government, the Croatian Basketball Federation, and partners are organizing the project "Memorial Game in Memory of Dražen Petrović," which will take place at Arena Zagreb on Friday, September 5, 2024.

This is an extraordinary event with numerous positive impacts on various aspects of sports and society. For the first time, basketball in Croatia will be played on an LED court.
